I’m Haiden, a certifying infant sleep specialist, and I’ve been where you are. Exhausted. Totally overwhelmed. Full of self-doubt. I thought I’d never survive a baby who didn’t sleep. Spoiler alert: I did, and you will too! Here’s a bit about my story and approach to supporting families.

  • I’m Haiden, mom and certifying Infant Sleep Specialist. For me, this journey all started with a baby who didn’t sleep.

I spent several months of my son’s early life with overwhelming anxiety around his sleep, doubting my instincts, and trying to find a magic fix to get him to sleep on his own.

I knew I didn’t want to follow mainstream sleep advice that required me to leave him alone to cry, but I had no idea what my other options were.

When I finally gave in to those instincts and focused on giving him what he needed - closeness, connection, and support, life got a lot easier.

Since then, I’ve developed a huge passion for learning and sharing about normal infant sleep, which led me to get my certification as a Baby-Led Sleep and Well-Being specialist.

Now, I’m so excited to be able to share this approach with other families and provide the kind of support that I desperately needed when my son was born.

  • My approach focuses on making sleep a safe and secure place for your baby, a place that focuses on fostering connection rather than forcing separation.

I don’t believe sleep is something that can be forced or taught, nor do I believe that supporting your baby to sleep is a “bad habit.”

I believe something is only a problem if it’s a problem for you. If you’re nursing to sleep and enjoying it, amazing! If you’re bedsharing and it’s working for you, keep doing it! Supporting your baby to sleep in the way that feels natural and right to you is the most important thing, and only becomes a problem when it starts to feel unsustainable, frustrating, or uncomfortable for you.

At that point, seeking sleep support can be really beneficial. When working with me, you decide what you’d like to change and I will come alongside you to help create a realistic roadmap that is truly gentle and respectful to your baby, a roadmap that is centered around your connection and protects attachment.

I will empower you to follow your intuition, share helpful education and resources on biologically normal infant sleep, and equip you with strategies to make change and optimize sleep for the whole family (all without any form of sleep training!).

  • The Baby-Led Sleep and Well-Being Specialist program by Isla Grace is an extensive, attachment-focused certification that covers the mother-baby dyad in sleep, sleep science, root causes of sleep disturbance (like vitamin deficiencies and airway health), maternal mental health, infant development, birth trauma, and so much more.

Through this program I studied the work of renowned experts like Dr. James McKenna and . Gordon Neufeld. Lauren Weber, the program's creator, has helped over 2,000 families improve their sleep without sleep training. This certification has forever changed my perspective on attachment, sleep, and parenting, and I hope it will do the same for you!

Everytime we respond to our baby, we are telling them “I am here, this is worth it.” And they internalize, “They are here, therefore, I must be worth it.”
